EGG FARMERS OF ONTARIO “FREE EGGS FOR A YEAR” CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

NOTE: THIS CONTEST IS INTENDED FOR RESIDENTS OF ONTARIO ONLY

No purchase necessary. To enter for your chance to win Egg Farmers of Ontario’s “Free Eggs For A Year” Contest, simply log on to www.getcracking.ca/dss where you may correctly answer the skill testing question and complete the contest ballot. Entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. EST December 5, 2010. Entries received shall be deemed to be submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Illegible entries, bulk drop-offs, mechanical reproductions or facsimile entries are ineligible. Limit of one entry per person, regardless of email addresses, telephone numbers or addresses provided. Contest starts on March 29, 2010 at 6:00:01 p.m. (EST), and closes on December 5, 2010 at 11:59:59 p.m. (EST) (the “Closing Contest Date”). Some restrictions apply. Proof of identification must be provided upon request. The Contest Sponsor is Egg Farmers of Ontario (hereinafter referred to as the “Contest Sponsor”).

1. GRAND PRIZE: There will be six (6) Grand Prizes awarded to entrants consisting of the following:
- Six (6) gift certificates each with an approximate value of one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00 CDN) for a total value of approximately nine hundred dollars ($900.00 CDN) from Egg Farmers of Ontario.

2. PRIZE AWARDING: All eligible entries received by Contest Closing Date will be entered into a random draw to select the 6 Grand Prize winners. The odds of winning a Grand Prize will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. The draw for the 6 Grand Prizes will be held on December 7, 2010. Contest Sponsor will attempt to contact the selected entrants or, if under the age of majority, his or her parent or legal guardian, by telephone within ten (10) days after the contest selection date. Proof of identification must be provided upon request. In order to win, the potential winner, or, if under the age of majority, his or her parent or legal guardian, must sign and return within 48 hours of receipt, a standard release confirming compliance with these contest rules and acknowledging that the Contest Sponsor is not responsible for any claims or damages arising out of any matter related to the contest and the prize. In the event that the winner is not eligible, does not sign the release within the specified time, or cannot be contacted by the Contest Sponsor within ten (10) days following the Contest Closing Date, Contest Sponsor shall have the right to disqualify that potential winner and select an alternate winner and the Contest Sponsor or any of its respective subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, advertising or promotional agencies or administrators, agents and representatives shall be fully and completely released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in this regard.

3. Each Grand Prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable or convertible into cash. Contest Sponsor reserves its right to cancel or substitute the Grand Prize in whole or in part due to any component of the prize being unavailable or for any circumstances beyond their control.

4. To enter and to be eligible to win a Grand Prize, a person must be a legal resident of Ontario, be at least sixteen (16) years of age at the time of entry and not an employee of or domiciled with an employee of the Contest Sponsor, or any of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, advertising or promotional agencies or administrators, agents or representatives. Entrants who are under the age of majority at the date of entry are eligible to enter the Contest and win a Prize provided that the parent or legal guardian of the entrant accepts any such Prize and the terms and conditions hereof for any on behalf of such entrant. Entrants must also correctly answer the skill testing question to be eligible to win a Grand Prize. Contest Sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, late, delayed, destroyed or misdirected entries or any computer errors or malfunctions. No correspondence will be entered into except with selected winning entrants. Contest Sponsor does not assume any responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, seeding or printing errors, lost, delayed or garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of telephone or computer line network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. If, for any reason, in the opinion of the Contest Sponsor, the online portion of the contest is not capable of running as originally planned, or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity or the proper conduct of the contest is corrupted or adversely affected, including by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond its control, the Contest Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the contest and selection of winners from previously received eligible entries . The Contest Sponsor reserves the right in their sole discretion to disqualify an individual if found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the contest or to be acting in violation of these rules or otherwise in a disruptive manner. Any attempts to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Contest Sponsor reserves its right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent of the law, including criminal prosecution. Contest Sponsor shall not be held responsible for any errors or negligence that may arise or occur in connection with the contest including any damage to an entrant’s computer equipment, system, software or any combination thereof, as a result of their participation in this contest or from downloading any material from the contest website.

5. By submitting the entry, all entrants consent to the collection, use and distribution of their personal information by the Contest Sponsor solely for the purpose of running the contest and for publicity purposes in all media including but not limited to within getcracking.ca without compensation and have agreed to consent to the use as outlined by checking the consent box located on the Entry Form and that such personal information will not be sold or shared with third parties. Each winner agrees to the use of his/her name, entry and/or photograph for advertising, publicity and promotional purposes in all media including but not limited to within www.getcracking.ca without compensation and agrees to execute specific consents to such use. By entering the contest, entrants automatically agree to accept and abide by these contest rules. All decisions of the Contest Sponsor, with respect to any aspect of this contest, including without limiting the eligibility of entries, are final and binding on all entrants in all matters as they relate to this contest.

6. Each Grand Prize Winner agrees to release, forever discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Contest Sponsor and their respective employees, officers, directors, parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and administrators, agents and representatives from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind resulting from their participation in the contest or their acceptance, use or misuse of a prize.

7. This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and is void where prohibited.
