And the winners are...

Once again, World Egg Month was celebrated by Egg Farmers of Ontario (EFO) and the Ontario Association of Food Banks (OAFB) by teaming up to help Beat Hunger across Ontario!

Over 1,200 dozen eggs (600 dozen for first place, 400 dozen and 200 dozen for second and third places, respectively) were up for grab through the online competition. EFO’s followers were asked to vote for their local food bank during the month of October.

After almost 40,000 votes being cast, we have a winner!

In first place, receiving 600 dozen eggs is Cambridge Self-Help Food Bank.

In second place, receiving 400 dozen eggs is Winchester Community Food Share.

And finally, in third place, receiving 250 dozen eggs is Georgetown Bread Basket.

EFO and OAFB would like to thank everyone who voted and shared the competition.

Egg Farmers of Ontario will continue to support food banks across the province with their ongoing partnership with the OAFB by donating $250,000 worth of eggs annually.
