Do you learn more quickly by being shown how to do something rather than reading or hearing about how it’s supposed to be done? If so, cooking videos are a great tool to help you learn new cooking techniques or improve skills you haven’t quite mastered. Fortunately for those of us who are visual learners, there are lots of videos online to choose from! Egg Farmers of Canada recently created some videos demonstrating how to cook eggs in some of the more popular ways like poaching, hard-cooking (often referred to as hard-boiling) scrambling and microwaving. They’ve also made videos showing how to make an omelette, quiche and meringue. Check out their video on the Get Cracking YouTube channel that shows how to poach an egg. Once you’ve watched that video, look through the list on the right side of that page to choose other egg cooking videos to watch. Then why not head to the kitchen and put your new-found knowledge to the test!
