Dietitian recommends fast foods while on the road

Less than 2-1/2 weeks left before it's back-to-school here in Ontario! For some this is truly the most wonderful time of the year. For others - not so much! If you'll be on the road during these last few days of summer holidays and plan to stop enroute to grab a few meals, don't think you need to be dining on burgers and fries for the entire trip. Sure, you might be making your food choices from what you find at gas bars, fast food restaurants and convenience stores, but things don't need to go downhill nutritionally when you're on the road. Elizabeth Ward, a nutrition blogger for USA Today, recently mapped out advice to help steer travellers in the right direction so they can make on-the-go meal choices as healthy as possible. Not surprisingly, her suggestions include eggs! Here is Ward's interview with Matt Lauer on the Today Show.
