Boston Cream Pie

Although traditionally called a “pie”, Boston cream pie is actually a layered cake. Filled with vanilla cream and iced with a delectable chocolate glaze, this cake is sure to please the young and old alike.

Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake

A modern twist can breathe new life into a classic. Simply add a chef spin to your favourite dish, just like Lynn did with her Sticky Toffee Pudding. By adding a caramel made with fresh cranberries and topping the cake with a full spoon of eggnog mousse, you are guaranteed to be an exquisite host and cook. Courtesy of: Chef Lynn Crawford

Blueberry Cake

Nova Scotia wild blueberries and a crunchy brown sugar and cinnamon topping flavour this easy cake from Jill and Sharon. Enjoy it plain, or top each serving with lightly sweetened whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream. Courtesy of: Jill and Sharon Thomas - 1st and 2nd Generation Egg Farmers

Eggs Benedict Casserole

This is a great choice if you have company coming over for brunch. Prep it the night before and refrigerate overnight. In the morning just pop it into the oven. You can easily double or triple the recipe. For best results, make the hollandaise sauce fresh before serving.

Fluffy Pancakes

A stack of warm, fluffy pancakes are sure to bring smiles to even the groggiest early morning risers. You can also prepare pancakes in advance and store in the freezer to be reheated in the microwave for a quick breakfast when you’re in a hurry.

Country Quiche

This country quiche is a quick and easy recipe for brunch or dinner. Ham, vegetables, green onions, and cheese are mixed with a creamy egg custard and baked on top of a bread crumb base.

Basic Quiche

Start with this base using a frozen pie shell or make your own pastry. Simply add a variety of filling options. Serve with a green salad for a light meal.

Eggy Potato Au Gratin

This dish is a delightful combination of savoury eggs and cheese that elevates boring potatoes to “eggs-ceptional” heights. This flavourful, filling side dish is ideal for a splendid sit down dinner or a buffet style get together!

Greens, Eggs and Ham

Eggs and education are the perfect ingredients to make this recipe one of your kid’s favourites. Have some fun in the kitchen while creating this play off the classic Dr. Seuss story Green Eggs & Ham. You can make a night of it and ask them to cuddle up after dinner to read you their most beloved bedtime story.
