Travellers stranded in snow storm near Sarnia find "Helps" on egg farm
Egg farmers Heather and Scott Helps have been living up to their name more than usual this week!
A snow storm stranded 300 people in their vehicles, some for over 30 hours, near Sarnia, Ontario earlier this week. Nearly a dozen of them found refuge and hospitality at the Helps home.
You can read the story about the Helps and their unexpected guests in this article in the Toronto Star written by Debra Black.
The rural communities in the snowed-in area have been wonderful about providing food and shelter for the stranded motorists.
