Egg Farmers of Ontario renews with Team Homan for the next curling Olympic Quadrennial

OTTAWA - Team Homan announced a partnership renewal today with Egg Farmers of Ontario for the next four curling seasons, a longstanding partner since 2017.

The partnership will see the Egg Farmers of Ontario logo displayed prominently on the left knee and upper front of Team Homan’s uniforms throughout the 2022-2026 curling seasons. There will also be several branded social media content series, including the upcoming “Let’s Get To Know the Team” social media feature. 

“We are so excited to have Egg Farmers of Ontario rejoin the team for the next four seasons,” said Rachel Homan, 2022 & 2018 Olympian, 2017 World Curling Champion, three-time Scotties Tournament of Hearts winner and an eleven-time Grand Slam of Curling Champion. “Egg Farmers of Ontario has been an incredible supporter of our team since 2017. The partnership is such a great fit while we all love eggs, and always find ways to incorporate eggs in our meals whether we’re at home or on the road.” 

Beyond the “Let’s Get To Know the Team” social media feature, Team Homan and Egg Farmers of Ontario will also offer behind-the-scenes content with the players from the team and content promotions.

“Egg Farmers of Ontario is proud to have eggs continue to fuel Team Homan,” said Scott Helps, EFO Chair. “Not only are they remarkable athletes, but with their hard work, dedication and passion for the sport, they are role models for the next generation of curlers.”

About Team Homan:

Team Homan was Team Canada at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games after winning the 2017 Roar of the Rings in their hometown. The team out of the Ottawa Curling Club was the 2017 World Women’s Curling Champions, with a perfect 13-0 record in Beijing, China. They are three-time national women’s curling champions, winning the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in 2017, 2014 and 2013. They also competed in the Scotties in 2021, 2020 and 2019, finishing second, in 2015, finishing third, and in 2011, finishing fourth. At the world level, they won a silver medal in 2014 and a bronze medal in 2013. 

Team Homan has won eleven titles on the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling and was the first women’s team to win a game in a men’s Grand Slam event. Rachel Homan and Emma Miskew have curled together since they were 11 years old and won a silver medal for Canada at the 2010 World Junior Championships. 2019 Scotties Tournament of Hearts champion and two-time Grand Slam of Curling titles, Sarah Wilkes joined the team during the 2020-21 season. #1 CTRS Ranked skip during the 2021-2022 season with two Grand Slam of Curling titles, Tracy Fleury joins the team during the 2022-23 season.
