About Tyler McGregor
Tyler McGregor is the captain of Canada’s National Para Ice Hockey Team and one of the most decorated athletes in the sport. After losing his left leg to spindle cell sarcoma at age 15, he found a new path through sledge hockey. What started as a way to stay connected to the game quickly turned into a platform for excellence and leadership.
Since then, he’s become a three-time Paralympian and three-time World Champion, known for his elite skill, determination, and heart.
Off the ice, Tyler is a passionate public speaker and advocate for inclusion and resilience. He shares his journey to inspire others to rise above life’s challenges and pursue their potential. As an ambassador for Make-A-Wish, he also helps kids facing critical illnesses experience hope and achieve their dreams.
Through sport, storytelling, and service, Tyler continues to lead by example – proving that setbacks don’t define us, but how we respond to them does.
