Enjoy making these out-of-this-world Easter eggs using a variety of recycled and household materials!
What you need:
- Aluminium foil
- Cardboard (cereal box, shipping box, etc.)
- Coloured permanent markers
- Collection of buttons
- Pipe cleaners, or items on hand
- Scissors
- Glue
- Egg shape printout (optional)
Step 1
Trace an egg shape directly on a cardboard surface to make the base of your Easter egg, or use the printable egg provided.
Step 2
Cut the egg shape and measure a sheet of aluminium foil that will cover the entire surface.
Step 3
Apply glue to the egg cut-out, then adhere the aluminium foil to the egg. Make sure to press evenly across the egg to avoid any bumps or air pockets. Fold any remaining foil to the back and add more glue if needed.
Step 4
Use your coloured markers and various craft supplies to decorate the egg to your liking. Get as creative as you like!
Step 5
Display your galactic Easter egg by hanging it with string or taping it to a wall for everyone to see!
