Why did you choose to become an egg farmer and what does it mean to you?
At the beginning, we were looking to expand our dairy operation and add some diversity. Due to the time commitment of dairy farming we felt egg farming would be a great fit. As we started enquiring, we felt a support system surrounding us instantly.
What is your favourite part about being an egg farmer?
Eggs themselves are such a unique product that can be so versatile in your every day life. Eggs provide consumers with a healthy food choice. Becoming an egg farmer, we felt we became part of a large family that support each other. We have met wonderful fellow farmers along the way that are always willing to share knowledge and show support and celebrate our successes.
