Starting October 1, 2018, Egg Farmers of Ontario (EFO) is once again teaming up with the Ontario Association of Food Banks (OAFB) to help beat hunger.
Although EFO already donates about 12,000 dozen eggs to food banks every month, the contest allows the chance for three food banks to win even more! People are encouraged to vote daily for their local OAFB-member food bank for a chance to win up to an extra 600 dozen eggs! The second-place winners received an additional 400 dozen eggs and the third place will receive 250 dozen eggs.
The contest will run until 11:59pm October 31, 2018.
Members of the community are encouraged to visit EFO’s Facebook page to vote for their local food bank everyday as well as encouraging others in their community to do the same.
Food banks that are an OAFB member are eligible to win. If a food bank is not currently a member, but would like more information on the benefits of being a part of OAFB they are encouraged to contact Amanda King (amanda@oafb.ca) with the association.
