October 23rd, 2025

Road to #RedHats presented by Egg Farmers of Ontario

Welcome to the 2026 OMHA Championships presented by Egg Farmers of Ontario!

The Ontario Minor Hockey Association has announced the dates and locations for this year’s Championships, where teams will compete for the coveted #RedHats.

Even with the season just getting underway, it’ll be playoffs before we know it. In the second half of the season, teams across the province will be gearing up for League Playoffs, which will again serve as qualifiers to determine who moves on to compete for an OMHA Championship.

The OMHA Championships will take place over four weekends: March 13-15, March 20-22, March 27-29 and April 3-5. They will be hosted in six locations around the province: Halton Hills, Kingston, Newmarket, Oakville, Peterborough and Whitby.

Round robin play will occur on the first two days, with the Semi-Finals and Championships being decided on the Sunday. Specific schedules will be released closer to the dates. The weekends will feature sponsor activations and gifts, excited crowds, official merchandise and live-streaming of games.

More details on event merchandise, hotels and live-streaming will be announced closer to the date.
