Another performance for the books

Well folks, that’s a wrap!

Alpine Skier and egg farmer Valérie Grenier had a great first winter games with her top finish being 6th in the Combined event, 21st in the Downhill and 23rd in the Super-G.

While the reigning Women’s World Curling Champions did not come out on top, we couldn’t be prouder of their performance on and off the ice. The foursome, made up of Rachael Homan, Emma Miskew, Joanne Courtney and Lisa Weagle fought hard until the end, but as with any world competition, it doesn’t always go as planned. They worked hard and we are so proud of them!

A Grade A performance was also shown by speed skater Kim Boutin, who is sponsored by our Quebec counterparts (Fédération des producteurs d’œufs du Québec) on a superb performance and on the great honour of being selected as flag bearer at the closing ceremonies!

We want to congratulate not only these amazing athletes on a record setting games performance but all Canadian athletes on representing our country with pride!
