The Ontario Poultry Research Centre is a partnership between the Government of Ontario, through the Agricultural Research Institute of Ontario (ARIO), and the poultry sector’s four regulatory commodity boards.
Ontario’s four feather boards are committed to continued support of leading-edge research in disease prevention, flock management, food safety and sustainability, and are pleased to demonstrate this commitment through the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding to invest in the Ontario Poultry Research Centre.
As part of the Grow Ontario Strategy, the Ontario Poultry Research Centre will further strengthen Ontario’s food supply chain and set a clear course that the Ontario Government is committed to supporting and growing the agriculture and agri-food sector in the province. The four feather boards are committed to supporting the research and innovation needs necessary to advance the feather industry, and the broader Ontario agriculture and agri-food community.
