Preheat oven to 350° (180°C). Grease and lightly flour two 8 X 5 inch (1.5L) loaf pans. Set aside.
In medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Set aside.
In large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat eggs until frothy. Add milk, sugar and butter; beat until well blended. Add flour mixture and mix until combined. Stir in raisins.
Divide batter evenly between prepared pans, smoothing tops. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until cake tester inserted in centre of loaves comes out clean and loaves are lightly browned. Let cool in pan on rack for 5 minutes.
I have made this twice now and love it. It makes two small loaves. I slice them into medium thick pieces then freeze them. This way I can take a couple of slices out at a time, toast them and enjoy.
