Easter Egg Surprise
This craft is perfect for those looking to display some artistic personality through lines, shapes and colours! Enter the world of watercolour with this easy craft using only a few items.
What you need:
- White paper (best to use thick paper such as cardstock or art paper)
- White wax crayons
- Watercolour paint
- Paintbrush
- Scissors
- Black marker or egg shape printout
Step 1
Printout your egg or draw the egg shape on a white piece of paper.Using white wax crayons and the egg shape, draw horizontal lines and shapes to decorate the Easter egg. Use the line designs in the attached document for inspiration.
Step 2
Once the lines are completed, brush over the egg with watercolour paint by covering it in colourful designs.
Step 3
Allow the art to fully dry before cutting. For a solid surface, you can glue the egg onto a recycled cardboard back. Feel free to cut out the Easter egg or keep it as-is for a unique design.
